Flex Guard Crack Isolation Membrane
Features:
-No priming required, very agressive tack

-Non-hazardous, non-toxic (EPA 8260 & EPA 5030B tested)
-Adhesive is solvent free, 100% solids, modified acrylic
-Crack isolation and anti-fracture underlayment isolates up to 3/8” (10 mm) horizontal movement 1/4” (6 mm) for partial coverage as recommended in the TCNA Handbook for Ceramic, Glass, and Stone Tile Installation (Detail F-125-Partial).
Note: Remember minimum installation is at least 2 times the width of the largest tile.
If you are using extra large tiles and have only a short joint or crack, the smaller length is useful,
and more economical for strip application, if you are not needing the large 75 ft. length roll.
If you do not want to risk future cracks developing directly under your tile in the future, a full floor installation
of Flex-Guard is highly recommended, especially for the extra large tiles in the market today.
